The Gemini Green and Innovation Fund is set on generating financial returns by strategically identifying high-growth market opportunities in food-insecure countries in West Africa and investing in viable businesses and entrepreneurs. The GCP methodology involves actively strengthening management, developing growth strategies, and fostering partnerships to achieve market leadership. This Fund places a key focus on unlocking agri-business and agricultural value chains through climate-resilient practices, building innovation ecosystems, and leveraging climate financing to protect natural capital, improve product quality, and create jobs for youth and women. The Fund targets significant climate impact by promoting a rapid transition to renewable energy within portfolio companies and incentivising the protection of natural capital, aiming to generate measurable, tradable Verified Carbon Credits.

Our Investment Framework
We invest between $50,000 and $1 million per business through a mix of Mezzanine and Direct Debt and Equity Instruments.
Approximately 80–90% of our portfolio consists of self-liquidating debt/mezzanine structures, with the remaining 10–20% allocated to high-impact equity opportunities. GCP ensure that our investments are tranched to match milestone achievements and growth inflexion points.
